TVS Raider launched in India at Rs 75,000, Gets connected tech

TVS Motor Company, today announced the launch of its new 125cc segment TVS Raider in India. Priced at Rs. 77,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new TVS Raider is available in drum and disc variant with combi brake system as standard.

Keeping Gen Z in mind, the TVS Raider has a macho, sporty and aggressive look. With one-of-a-kind animalistic LED headlight with DRL, LED taillight, and drawn-out exhaust with a silver-coloured heat shield, the Raider sports a distinctive naked street styling.

TVS Raider is powered by an advanced 124.8 cc air and oil-cooled 3V engine, which churns a maximum power of 11.4 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The 124.8 cc engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. With a top speed of 99 km/h, the new TVS Raider can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 5.9 secs.

TVS Motor Company claims that, Ecothrust Fuel injection (ETFi) technology delivers superior mileage, better startability, refinement, and durability. While, TVS intelliGO enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops.

The TVS Raider sports a gas-charged 5-step adjustable mono-shock suspension, low friction front suspension and split seat. With two drive modes – Eco and Pro, its riding on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Apart from the standard reverse LCD digital speedometer, the TVS Raider also gets an optional 5-inch TFT cluster with TVS SMARTXONNECT, which offers Bluetooth Connectivity. Navigation and Voice Assist. The switch cluster, footpegs, and mechanical details are designed in harmony with the motorcycle. Other key features include under-seat storage, auto stop-start,side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, helmet reminder and optional USB charger.

The new TVS Raider will be available in colours like Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.
