Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has today officially launched the new Alcazar facelift at a starting price of Rs 14.99 lakh for the Petrol 7-seater variant and Rs 15.99 lakh for the Diesel 7-seater variant (all prices ex-showroom PAN India). The updated Hyundai Alcazar will be available in four variants; Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. as 6 and 7 seater. Bookings can be made by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000 through the Hyundai dealership or official website.
New Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Design
The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar sports a revised front fascia similar to the new Creta N-line, dominated by the brand’s signature H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) connected with a light bar, a grille with horizontal slats and a rugged-looking front bumper along with a new skid plate and new dark chrome front grille. The all-new hood design and quad-beam LED headlamps adds a bolder stance than the pre-facelift model.
The mini Hyundai Palisade rides on all-new R18 diamond cut alloy wheel with black painted cladding. The rear design features a new spoiler with integrated stop lamp along with the new bumper and skid plate design, the all-new connected LED taillamps adding a wider, taller and bolder stance similar to the Hyundai Palisade. The Alcazar now also comes equipped with new LED turn signal with sequential function.

Coming to the interior, the new Alcazar sports a dashboard layout similar to the new Creta facelift. Dominated by the dual 10.25-inch HD infotainment screens and digital instrument cluster with dual-tone noble brown and haze navy color plush interiors.

As before, the Alacazar facelift will be available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations. The 6-seater variant now features ventilated captain seats in the second row with enhanced cushioning and bolstering. Captain seats with folding armrest instead of the fixed centre console that was placed between the captain seats pre-facelift model makes easy passage to the third row and adds more room. The captain seat also gets a ‘boss mode’ feature where the front passenger seat can be operated from the rear to open up more space.
The 7-seater variant offers a seat tumble mechanism for easy ingress/egress to the third row. The Alcazar now gets a one-of-a-kind thigh cushion extension, power walk-in device, wing type headrest, Driver power seat memory function, 8-way power driver and 8 way power passenger seat, rear sunshades, fold-out tray table much more.

As always this time too the Korean automaker has launched the Alcazar with many new features which includes; Hyundai bluelink connected car technology with 70+ features along with smartwatch and smart phone connectivity, 270+ embedded VR commands, 10.25-inch HD infotainment system with in-built music streaming application JioSaavn (with one-year complimentary subscription), in-built navigation along with multi language Ul display (10 regional & 2 international languages), Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control (DATC) with touch type AC control panel and ambient lighting, rain sensing wipers, Bose premium sound 8 speaker system, Voice enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof, 1st & 2nd row wireless charger, magnetic pad and a lot more.
The New Alcazar facelift is also the first Hyundai model in India to feature its innovative digital key with NFC technology, where the customers can lock and unlock the 2025 Alcazar with a simple touch of their smartphone or smartwatch against the door handle. The user can then simply place the smartphone/smartwatch on the front wireless charger pad to further start the vehicle. The technology also allows the customer to drive and share the Digital Key with upto 3 different users or up to 7 linked devices at a time.
New Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Powertrain
The new front-wheel-drive Alcazar comes with two engine options. These include 1.5-litre Turbo GDi Petrol engine and the popular 1.5-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine. The 1.5-litre T-GDi petrol engine produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque and can be had with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The 1.5-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine churns out 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque and is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission. Both the powertrain are equipped with multiple drive modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport) and traction modes (Snow, Mud, and Sand).

The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar comes with standard 40 safety features including six airbags, Hill-Start Assist Control, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, all four disc brakes and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline). Additionally, the new Alcazar is equipped with safety enhancements like the Digital Key, Hill Descent Control, front parking sensors, Rain sensing wipers and Electro Chromic inside rear-view mirror.
