The much-awaited BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will be launched in India on October 15, 2020. When launched, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will the brand’s most affordable sedan in India. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is the 4-door version of the 2 Series Coupe.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is based on the advanced BMW front-wheel-drive architecture. The 2 Series Gran Coupe measures 4,526 millimetres in length, 1,800 millimetres in width, and stands 1,420 millimetres tall. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220d will be powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-litre diesel engine. It churns out 190 hp of power and 280 Nm of peak torque. The 220d is expected to be mated with the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The petrol variant will be joining the line-up later.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is expected to be priced between Rs 34 lakh to Rs. 38 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, the 2 Series Gran Coupe will compete with the likes of the upcoming Mercedes Benz A-Class Limousine and the upcoming new Audi A3 Saloon.
