Skoda Auto has today launched the new Slavia 1.5-TSI in India. The new Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI will be offered only in the top-spec Style variant. The Slavia 1.5 TSI manual is priced at Rs 16.19 lakh, while the automatic variant costs Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Bookings for the Slavia 1.5 TSI are open, deliveries will begin by the end of this month. The Czech carmaker had launched the Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI version few days ago.

Visually, there is no change over the 1.0 TSI model to help differentiate the variants. The Skoda Slavia’s 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, TSI turbo-petrol engine churns out 15 0hp and 250 Nm. The 1.5 TSI engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox (same as Skoda Kushaq).
In terms of features, Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI is equipped with free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a sunroof, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, rear centre armrest, GPS tuner, ambient lighting and more.
