Driver and passenger’s knees showed marginal protection as they could impact with dangerous structures behind the dashboard supported by the tranfascia tube. The manufacturer declined to recommend Child Restraint Systems (CRS) for the test so the dynamic points were rated as zero. The CRS for the 3 year old was installed forward facing with adult seatbelt and was not able to prevent excessive forward movement during the impact and the head of the dummy contacted the seat. The 18 month old CRS was installed with adult seatbelt rearward facing which offered good protection to the child dummy. The recommended CRSs did not show incompatibility. The vehicle does not offer 3 points in all seating position. The car does not offer ISOFIX connectors.
